LegalTerms and Conditions
These terms explain the rules for using the Living Nest Guide website, subscribing to our newsletter and engaging our home services. Please read them before you use the site or ask us to begin work.
Welcome to Living Nest Guide. These terms and conditions ("terms") govern your use of our website and the services we provide. By browsing this website, subscribing to our newsletter or asking us to carry out work, you agree to them. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the site or our services.

1. Who we are
Living Nest Guide is a home services company operating from 6417 Cabot Ave, Norfolk, VA 23502, USA. Throughout these terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Living Nest Guide, and "you" refers to the person visiting this website, subscribing to our newsletter or engaging our services. You can reach us at +1 757-461-1444 or support@livingnestguide.com.
2. Using our website
This website is provided for general information about our company, our services and home care topics we think you will find useful. You may browse it, print pages for your own reference and share links with others. You may not copy substantial parts of it, republish it as your own, attempt to interfere with its operation, or use automated tools to harvest content or contact details.
We work to keep the information on this website accurate and current, but articles, product references and service descriptions are written in general terms. They are not a substitute for an inspection of your own property, and nothing on this website should be read as a guarantee that a particular approach will suit your home. Where safety topics are discussed, the guidance is general in nature and does not replace professional advice or the instructions supplied with equipment in your home.
3. Newsletter subscriptions
When you subscribe to the Nest Letter, we ask for your name, email address, birthdate and your agreement to these terms and our Privacy Policy. We use that information to send the newsletter, seasonal home care guidance and, if you have agreed to it, a birthday note and occasional service updates.
Subscriptions are free of charge and there is no minimum period. We may send a confirmation message to verify your address. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or the form on our unsubscribe page, and we will remove you from the mailing list promptly. We may update email content, frequency or format from time to time, and we may suspend the newsletter if we are unable to maintain it as intended.
4. Home services and quotations
Descriptions of our services on this website are an introduction, not an offer. Work begins only after we have discussed your requirements, inspected the relevant parts of your property where necessary, and provided written terms of work for your approval. Any quotation is based on the conditions we were able to observe at the time and the information you have given us.
Homes often hide surprises. If we discover something unexpected — concealed damage, unsafe wiring, rot, asbestos or an undocumented alteration — we will pause, explain what we have found and agree a way forward with you before continuing. Additional work will not be carried out without your approval, and prices may need to be adjusted if the scope changes or if the materials required are no longer available.
Where our services include guidance on financing, warranties or legal documents, that guidance is general information only. We are not a lender, a financial adviser or a legal adviser, and you should always review agreements with your own professional advisers before signing anything.
5. Payments and scheduling
Payment terms, deposits and instalment arrangements are set out in your written terms of work. Dates and schedules are agreed in good faith, and we ask that you give us reasonable access to the property during working hours so the project can progress as planned.
Please let us know about anything that may affect access or safety before work begins: pets, alarms, parking restrictions, gates, shared access with neighbours, or household members with particular needs. If circumstances such as severe weather or supply delays affect a schedule, we will contact you promptly and agree a revised arrangement.
6. Warranties and workmanship
We stand behind the quality of our workmanship. The warranty that applies to your project is set out in your terms of work and may vary by service, by material and by manufacturer. Manufacturer warranties for products such as windows, roofing materials or equipment are provided by the relevant manufacturer and are subject to their own conditions.
Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, unauthorised alterations, extreme weather events, or work carried out by others after we have completed our part of the project. Please keep your warranty documents in a safe place — we will provide copies and store our own records so we can help you if you ever need to make a claim.
7. Content, reviews and submissions
Our blog articles are written in good faith for general guidance and are reviewed periodically. They reflect our own experience with homes similar to yours, but conditions differ from property to property, so please treat them as ideas to consider rather than instructions to follow. Where an article touches on safety, we encourage you to also consult the manufacturer's documentation and, where appropriate, a qualified specialist.
If you send us feedback, a photograph, a review or a story about your home, you confirm that you have the right to share it and you grant us permission to use it in our marketing and on this website, in a way that respects your privacy. We will not publish your full address, and we are happy to use initials in place of a surname if you prefer. You can ask us to remove a testimonial at any time.
8. Intellectual property
All content on this website — including text, layout, graphics, icons, logos and images — belongs to Living Nest Guide or is used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from any part of it for commercial purposes without our written consent. Linking to our pages is welcome; presenting our content as your own is not.
9. Limitation of liability
We provide this website on an "as available" basis and we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this website, or from reliance on general guidance published here.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Our responsibility for work carried out at your property is governed by your written terms of work and by applicable law.
10. Governing law and changes to these terms
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, and any dispute will be handled by the courts of that jurisdiction. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply, and we will replace the affected wording with something that reflects the same intention.
We may update these terms from time to time as our services or the applicable rules change. The version published on this page is the one that applies, and we will note significant changes clearly. Continuing to use the website or our services after an update means you accept the revised terms. If you would like to ask about anything on this page, please get in touch before proceeding — we are always happy to explain how we work.
